Overview

The sit back pushup is an exercise that targets the chest. To do this exercise, start in a standard pushup position with your hands shoulder-width apart and your feet together. Then, bend your elbows and lower your body until your chest is an inch or two off the ground. Pause for a second, then push yourself back up to the starting position. Repeat this for 10-12 repetitions.

Variations

Variations of fitness exercises refer to different ways of performing a specific exercise or movement to target various muscle groups, intensities, or goals. These variations aim to challenge the body differently, prevent plateaus, and cater to individuals with varying fitness levels.

Alternatives

These alternative exercises can be used as substitutes when the original exercise is unavailable or challenging to perform due to various reasons such as equipment limitations, injuries, or personal preferences.
