Overview
The sumo deadlift with bands is an exercise that targets the hamstrings. It is performed by standing with your feet wider than shoulder-width apart and your toes turned out. Bend over and grab a barbell with an overhand grip, with your hands outside of your legs. Hinge at your hips and knees, keeping your back flat, and lower the bar until it touches your shins. Then, drive through your heels to return to the starting position. The bands provide resistance throughout the entire range of motion, which helps to target the hamstrings more effectively.
