Overview

The swimmer is a core exercise that targets the lower back. To perform the swimmer, lie on your stomach with your legs extended and your arms at your sides. Engage your core and lift your arms and legs off the ground so that your body forms a V shape. Hold the position for a few seconds, then slowly lower back down. Repeat for 10-12 reps.
