Overview

The sumo pulse is a quadfocused exercise that is performed standing with your feet wider than shoulder-width apart. You then bend your knees and lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor, keeping your chest up and your back straight. Pause for a second at the bottom of the movement, then return to the starting position. The sumo pulse can be performed with or without weights, and it is a great way to target the quadriceps muscles.
